Hello. Just thought I'd submit some pictures that I
rendered with Cinema4D v.3 for use in ENGiNE NiNE
software by Matthew Briggs. All the images are in
640x512x8 bitplanes except for the first image which I
had deleted and had been downgraded to 320x512 by the
time I had got it back again, thanks Mr Amos Programmer !
---------------------------------------------------------
1. E9.iff
This first picture was the first effort I made in
Cinema4D to make a render look really good. There is a
lens flare present in this image although it is debatable
to how much every image really needs this, so it is not
present in the other images as I felt it was not really
necessary except for purely cosmetic reasons.
2. E92.iff
This is the first of 2 similiar images rendered that
contains the main text logo. This was fairly simple to
produce, as I first used CinemaFont and then morphed the
text so that it had a 3-dimensional appearance.
3. E9.iff
This is the same image as the previous one, except for
the axles and cogs.
4. E94.iff
This image I regard as the poorest, this is because I do
not feel it has as much impact as the rest of them.
Cinema4D's emboss function came in handy for this render.
5. E95.iff
This image contains text generated from CinemaFont which
was then given a 3-dimensional aspect. I like the
composition in this image as I think the two main
textures complement each other rather well.
6. Snooker.iff
As the ENGiNE NiNE logos were starting to bore me a
little, I thought I'd do something different and so I
rendered a prilimary snooker table, no external textures
were used in this render as pure colours can look good
on their own in Cinema4D.
7. Snooker2.iff
The previous wireframe was used in this render to form
the snooker table although some textures were
additionally altered. I still haven't decided if the
floor and wall textures really complement the snooker
table itself. Can anybody help me in tiling textures the
way I want them to look in Cinema4D v.3 ?
BTW - I know the balls may be the wrong way round, I
couldn't remember which balls went which way round at the
time - and I also know there are no pockets !
